As dog guardians, we can do this by facilitating safe opportunities that allow them to participate in the behaviors that are intrinsic to their being, such as: sniffing, playing, chasing, chewing, barking and foraging. Allowing your dog safe opportunities to engage in these behaviors allows them to be physically, emotionally and mentally fulfilled.
