At Wilderpups, we believe the foundation to having a happy and healthy dog is allowing them to partake in species specific behaviours.
As dog guardians, we can do this by facilitating safe opportunities that allow them to sniff, run, chew, bite, bark, dig, shred, forage….the list goes on! All those “bad dog” behaviours, that are really just your dog saying “I need time to be myself!” Giving your dog these opportunities for species specific enrichment enables them to be physically, emotionally and mentally fulfilled. Which results in a happier companion animal. 💜
Wilderpups is passionate about canine enrichment, and a group hike is a great way to enrich your pup’s daily life.
Minimum 90 minute hike with a group of other dogs. A SportDog GPS tracking device for your dog to wear, as well as pick up & drop off within Powell River are included. Total outing time varies based on driving. Trail-manners and other basic behaviours will be practiced with your dog.
Please note: Dogs must be healthy, at least 12 months of age, between 20-120lbs, up to date on vaccinations and join a minimum of 1x/weekly to participate in the group hike program.
A chance for you to meet your dog's hike leader and for us to get to know you & your dog.
