Kennedy is a lifelong dog lover and outdoor enthusiast who has turned her passion for hiking and training with dogs into a fulfilling career. Her mission is to enrich the lives of dogs by providing safe, natural opportunities for them to thrive and simply enjoy being themselves.
With years of experience, Kennedy has developed a commitment to kind, fair, and positive training practices, consistently achieving the best results through these methods. Her dedication to this lifestyle extends beyond her work. Even on her days off from Groups, you’ll often find her in the trails hiking and training with her own beloved dogs, Winnie and Juniper.
Winnie is Kennedy's 5 year old Mini Australian Shepherd. He is a tiny but mighty boy, and the best little sidekick a girl could ask for. Kennedy‘s interest in training is shared by Winnie, and together they have dabbled in scent detection, agility, tricks, dock diving and disc.
Juni Bubs is Kennedy’s 3.5yo Mixie Mutt. She was originally found as a stray puppy in Northern BC, and through a series of events found her way into Kennedy’s hiking program, and eventually, into Kennedy’s home as well. Juni loves the forest, playing with other dogs and her people, but most of all, she loves FOOD!
Embark DNA test revealed she is a Rottweiler, American Pitbull Terrier, Malamute, Border Collie mix, and while traits of each breed are evident, she is 100% unique in her own right, and what Kennedy loves to call “The Perfect Dog”.
